dare you stop me from my run?

Something about the light, the time of day, and the pure awesomeness of Jeff and Jeff stopped me from my run along the Hudson River in Battery Park about two weeks ago. It appeared the duo were skating- quite gracefully, I might add- in between different sized multi-color party cups… and as if they were on ice. They were, of course, on rollerblades. Check it out.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

bright lights, big city, new apartment, new beginnings

So I’ve moved- again- and somehow finagled my way -again- into not moving from my beloved neighborhood of Tribeca. A small studio on the 26th floor is nearly unpacked, and I can see the Hudson River and the Empire State Building and Crystler Building just by sitting at my keyboard’s stool. The only thing I have yet to get is my workbench, which will be sitting right next to that. It will be cramped, but it will do.

It’s time to accessorize with the little I have. This means three things: Etsy, eBay, and Thrifting. Oh, and selling my jewelry.

I don’t care if things don’t match.

But before I embark to find the paint, wallpaper, hooks, and snatch one or two of these awesome SwimmersLittle Red Riding Hood  and Alice in Wonderland tumblers, I decided find a few kitchen accessories totaling under $40…
